Pattaya is located on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand, in the Thai province of Chonburi. In the 1960's it was a small fishing village, until American servicemen stationed nearby began visiting. Fishing huts along the beach were eventually replaced by resort hotels and go-go bars. Pattaya now represents what happens when we remove the moral valves through which society's wealth flows. Everything is wide-open, everything is possible, as long as there is enough money.
