In 2006, two of my best friends and I packed a car with as many of our possessions as we could, and drove from Vancouver Island to Toronto. It was a bewildering decision, as much to myself as my family. Now I have lived in Toronto for 10 years. I've met my wife, built a career as a teacher, sung in a thriving community choir and I've begun to understand how to be an artist. I've gone camping, I've gone on tour, on retreat, on field trips, grad trips and day trips. In the 10 years I have spent here, I have explored Ontario, and I have explored myself.
