Home will always be the West coast of British Columbia, where I was born and raised. A combination of latitude, ocean currents and geography have left this area full to the brim with life. Now, with signs of environmental decline, it seems an area that will show us, in heart-breaking detail, how our activities affect the earth. May it always also be a place for us to grow and learn about ourselves, and how we fit into the tapestry of life.
